Carolyn Murphy’s cards are launched on the Love From The Artist website. The ‘Serenity’ cards and digital print, which raise money for Macmillan, go live today, as well as Carolyn’s range of special occasion cards, for birthdays and anniversaries.
The ‘Serenity’ cards and A3 print are reproductions from the original A1 linocut commissioned by Macmillan. ‘Serenity’ is now on the wall of the newly completed extension of the Macmillan Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital. Carolyn Murphy’s Occasions card range are colourful, textured and bold. “I created them using stencils. It’s a fun ‘monoprint’ technique, where the image builds up in layers,” explained Carolyn.
