‘AA2A 30th Anniversary exhibition’
University of Chester, Creative Campus, Kingsway,
Chester CH2 2LB
Dates: 16 July – 13 August 2026
This multi-disciplinary group exhibition celebrates 30 years of AA2A. The AA2A Project links artists with colleges and universities across the UK, providing year-long residencies for artists and professional practice advice for Fine Art students. The show includes selected works by 50 artists from across the 3 decades of the AA2A programme.
Hosted by Chester University’s Division of Art, Design and Innovation, in the CASC Gallery on the Kingsway Campus, it’s a chance to view paintings, sculpture, printmaking, photography, textile works and more!
Having completed my own AA2A artist residency at Chester in 2024/25, it’s fantastic to be back there, and showing both 2D and 3D works. Some of these draw on the laser cutting skills I developed at Chester, as part of my Fragile Structures project, as I focused on developing the installation side of my practice.
The private view is on Thursday 16 July, 5 – 8pm. The event is free to attend but an Eventbrite ticket is required. All details are on the aa2aproject Instagram page. It would be great to see you there!
