Description
‘Atom’ is an original reduction linocut by Carolyn Murphy. This linocut is one of three designs I created to capture the ‘panopticon’ structures which celebrate the regeneration of East Lancashire. The Atom art sculpture is in an exposed spot above Wycoller, near Colne, and has great views into the valley and over the Pennines. ‘Atom’ is a small edition of eight. The set of three includes ‘Halo II’ and the ‘Singing Ringing Tree’. These original linocuts can be bought individually or as a set of three. Printed on 200gsm Surrey off-white cartridge paper, this edition was hand-printed from a single lino plate. Image size approx. 21 cm x 21 cm. Unframed, signed, titled and numbered on the front, backed with card and wrapped in cellophane.
