Fracture 2

‘Fracture 2’ is an original Carolyn Murphy collagraph, with a variable limited edition of 10. This semi-abstracted artwork is based on sketches I made in the Winter Hill area, north of Manchester. The landscape was devastated by wildfire for weeks in 2018. The irregular shaped printing plate is split into four pieces, suggesting the impact and damage to this fragile environment.

Image size is approximately 25.3 x 24.6 cm at its widest point, and printed on Fabriano Unica paper, approximately 35.4 x 34.5 cm in size. The work is signed, titled and numbered on the front, backed with board and wrapped in cellophane.
