‘Halo II’ is an original Carolyn Murphy linocut of Haslingden Halo, an art sculpture in the Pennines of East Lancashire. Image size approx. 21 cm x 21 cm. Limited edition of 8 in this colour way.
‘Halo II’ is an original multi-plate linocut by Carolyn Murphy. This linocut is one of three I created to capture the ‘panopticon’ structures which celebrate the regeneration of East Lancashire. The Halo art sculpture is high on a hill above the town of Haslingden, so it has great views over the Pennine hills. ‘Halo II’ is a small edition of eight, in this colour way. The set of three includes the ‘Singing Ringing Tree’ and the ‘Atom’. These original linocuts can be bought individually or as a set of three. Printed on 200gsm Surrey off-white cartridge paper, this edition was hand-printed from three separate lino plates. Image size approx. 21 cm x 21 cm. Unframed, signed, titled and numbered on the front, backed with card and wrapped in cellophane.
