Serenity

Original reduction linocut by Carolyn Murphy. ‘Serenity’ is a positive, large landscape image, with hot air balloons and sunflowers. I created this huge linocut in 2018 from one piece of A1 lino. It was a commission from Macmillan Cancer Support’s Wythenshawe Centre, so I am proud to say that numbers one and two of this small edition of six original prints hang in Wythenshawe Hospital today – in the Macmillan Information and Support Centre and the Family Room. ‘Serenity’ also features on cards, which you can buy to support the Centre. This limited edition is hand-printed onto 300 gsm Canaletto off-white paper. Image size approx. 78 cm x  53 cm. Unframed, signed, titled and numbered on the front.
