Carolyn Murphy’s cards are launched on the Love From The Artist website. The ‘Serenity’ cards and digital print, which raise money for Macmillan, go live today, as well as Carolyn’s range of special occasion cards, for birthdays and anniversaries.
The ‘Serenity’ cards and A3 print are reproductions from the original A1 linocut commissioned by Macmillan. ‘Serenity’ is now on the wall of the newly completed extension of the Macmillan Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital. Carolyn Murphy’s Occasions card range are colourful, textured and bold. “I created them using stencils. It’s a fun ‘monoprint’ technique, where the image builds up in layers,” explained Carolyn.
There are designs in the range with candle, heart, flower and star motifs. They’re ideal for sending birthdays, good luck, anniversary and thank you wishes. You can see Carolyn’s full range, available from the not-for-profit organisation Love From The Artist, by visiting her page.
All cards cost £2.50 plus postage and packing. On the site you can review work by a wide range of artists and select a mix. Love From The Artist print on demand and will send directly to you. You can also personalise the inside with messages and photos, at no additional charge.
