Come along to our Chorlton Exhibition event

On Sunday 18 February you are invited along to Chorlton’s Printmaking Exhibition at the World Peace Café from 5-7pm. Carolyn Murphy and Cate Gibson’s work is on show at the café until 28 February and this is a chance to meet the artists, see a wide range of their work and join them for refreshments and a chat.

All the work is for sale and there will be new cards available and new original work especially for the event.

You can see original linocuts, etchings and collagraphs by both artists, who are based in South Manchester.

World Peace Café is at 76 High Lane, Chorlton in Manchester, part of the Buddhist Centre, opposite St John’s Church. Everyone is very welcome.

NEW cards on sale now!

Six design of Carolyn Murphy’s original linocuts are now on sale as greetings cards direct to the public through Love From The Artist, a fantastic not-for-profit organisation.

The cards are blank inside and can be personalised with a message and images inside at no extra charge. Cards can be bought individually and are printed digitally on demand, so no stock or wastage. Cards are recyclable and printed using sustainable materials. Love From The Artist also supplies card retailers.

Carolyn’s cards retail at £2.50 each plus postage & packing. New designs will be added over the months ahead.

Cards are already on sale at the World Peace Café in Chorlton, Manchester alongside the Printmaking Exhibition which runs until 28 February. Work by artists & printmakers Carolyn Murphy and Cate Gibson is on display and for sale.

New Chorlton printmaking exhibition

On Friday 1 December printmakers Carolyn Murphy and Cate Gibson opened their new printmaking exhibition at the World Peace Café on Chorlton’s High Lane in Manchester. The exhibition goes on until February 2018, in line with the café opening times.

Framed artwork and cards are for sale and can be taken away, ready for Christmas gifts. Unframed work by both artists was also available at the opening. Unframed work is now available at the new online Shop on this website. Cards can be purchased online from the website of ‘Love From The Artist’, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting artists.
