Composite I & II are works on paper created by Carolyn Murphy for the Intersect exhibition in Stratford, East London (Oct / Nov 2025). They include laser cut and hand cut layers of handprinted paper, that interact with each other and are held together simply with a few cotton stitches. These works are part of Carolyn’s ongoing exploration of fragile structures.

Approximate sizes: Composite I, 30 cm x 50 cm and Composite II, 34 cm x 50 cm.
