Description
‘Singing Ringing Tree’ is an original multi-plate linocut by Carolyn Murphy. This linocut is one of three I created to capture the ‘panopticon’ structures which celebrate the regeneration of East Lancashire. The Singing Ringing Tree art sculpture is high on a hill outside Burnley, so it rings regularly in the wind and has great views over the Pennines. ‘Singing Ringing Tree’ is a small edition of eight, in this colour way. The set of three includes ‘Halo II’ and the ‘Atom’. These original linocuts can be bought individually or as a set of three. Printed on 200gsm Surrey off-white cartridge paper, this edition was hand-printed from four separate lino plates. Image size approx. 21 cm x 21 cm. Unframed, signed, titled and numbered on the front, backed with card and wrapped in cellophane.
