Gecko linocut in charity sale

Carolyn Murphy’s gecko linocut is now in Stratford-on-Avon at the Twitter Art Exhibition 2017, to help raise money for children’s charity Molly Olly’s Wishes. This year’s charity art sale on Saturday 1 April sees artwork from over 1000 artists from all over the world go on sale. Each artist contributed a one-off original postcard-sized piece of artwork to the exhibition and sale.

This is the first time that Carolyn has taken part in the Twitter Art Exhibition. Her two-plate reduction linocut of a gecko and butterflies, called ‘Sticky Feet’ sold on the opening night. For more ‘behind the scenes’ images and information on the complex process with stage images, see Carolyn’s blog
